I was just north of San Carlos in the Ensenada Chica area for New Years. The beaches were completely empty, no fishermen, no campers, no nobody. It was nice, but also indicative of the current state of affairs.

Given that not everyone likes to live their lives publicly on the internet, wouldn't it be appropriate to give folks an opportunity to respond to queries such as these on their own? Just asking.

I am suggestion Lizard Lips LOOK at posts by HOOK that already are on the Internet here, where HOOK tells all of us about San Carlos... No private information spilled.

To see other posts by anyone on San Carlos, just use Nomad Search, type San Carlos into the subject line... leave the others blank.

Remember, there are two popular San Carlos in Baja (Punta San Carlos and Puerto San Carlos).

I honestly don't like the Search function. Never seems to get me near to what I am looking for. If people labeled their posts better it might help...

Since there are enough people here that like to answer questions, even if it is the same one that someone else asked a week ago, I don't feel bad just asking instead of searching.

In case he didn't want to wait... Also, search doesn't just search titles of threads, but EVERY word in a thread! But, spelling the place correctly will help to find it!

I reached Hook by u2u and we will be getting together. I know what you mean Roberto but I knew there was a Nomad living in SC and I couldn't remember who it was. It's always nice to know someone in the area where I travel especially when I am by myself. Thanks David.

You are welcome Dan... If in the future, you decide not to ask on Nomad forums, then feel free to u2u or call for anything my friend!
