You are correct BajaCat...
for extra points, what is the church's name (hint: a saint) and who is credited for designing it?

David,
I think picture #2 was designed by Seņor Eiffel. Can't remember the name of the saint.

Alexander Gustave Eiffel is credited with designing the cast iron, pre-fab church... yes! Built in 1897 and shipped to Santa Rosalia following the
World's Fair in Paris (1898) where it was originally assembled.
The Church is named for Santa (Saint) Barbara.

Okay, #3 remains unanswered...
Hints: is/was a lighthouse at a place where sailors better OPEN their EYES! A couple of Nomads live there...

My kids and I used to have fun hiking with Rich in the desert, and then that day trip to Guadalupe I rode in his truck and joining us was elgatoloco,
Barb, and David Eidell.
Is Roja still around?
Elizabeth and I last saw Rich at his San Diego house as he was prepping for the move south.
If you talk to him, tell him to drop me a line... his old email addy didn't work last time I tried. In 2007 we drove around town looking for his truck
or any Nomad before we moved on.
Thanks Ralph.
Punta Cabras group camp, 2001... that's Rich on the right:
