Another Newbie

Hello Everybody,
I'm new to Baja Nomads, the site was recomended by someone on the Traveladvisory site and I am glad I came over to take a look. After my first visit and reading some of the different topics I became a memeber. Little about me. I am a recent military reitired person that lives in Tijuana with my Mexican spouse. Since i lived here I finally got to go to many places here in the north such as Rosarito, Esenada and San Felipe. Needless to say I love Baja and I am now hooked at going and visiting as many places as I can. I am planing a trip from TJ to Cabo in May during my break time from school. My intention is to drive this so I can explore all the nice spots on the way down, anyway I am honored to be a part of this site and I hope to share stories and comentarys with all of you from time to time. Thanks and God bless you all. Depreator. :)

Welcome Depreator! Our stories are similar, just retired, Mexican wife, lot of time in Baja Norte. Be careful about traveling south!! I did, and now I live in La paz! Very addictive drug Baja, and I feel Baja Sur is even more so.

Welcome to BajaNomad and Baja.
I second the request for more TJ talk. You're just in time to join Ferna in Tijuana at his yearly event and meet some real, mostly alive Nomads in person. Look below to the graphic with the Camel and click on the link for a full explaination.

Hey Howard, The depreator was kind of like a nickname for me carried over from my military service. Also it is a popular movie series about Alien hunters. I'm still kind of like a big kid at heart.

BajaGringo,
I am attending school in Chula Vista at Southwestern College. I'm a Enviromental Technology major, that is the main reason I currently live in TJ, it is close to school and plus I am a SENTRI user so it is easy for me to go back and forth. Decided to go ahead and use my education benfits from my military service, and enjoy my retired time in Baja.

Howard, thats funny, but spoken like a true Marine right? Well you are right in one area, Yes I was Navy, but not the Navy you might think i.e. big gray ships, i was with the Seabee's and then transfered over to EOD for my last 8 years. I worked with many good Marines so I know you won't hold it against me.:)
