speaks volumes!
when are you leaving?
"I want out"
"I've had it"
"This place has gone to the dogs"
hahaha all talk. zero substance

Ya know...you arn't worth having a senseless discussion with, but you've just about taken all of the fun out of all this for me.

ohh pobrecito (sp)
want to re-read the OP's thread title??
Having to wade thru your recorded (your postings) life's misery, is a real buzzkill at the best of times. And hear you are in a thread titled "Things Mexico Does Right" plying your usual BULL s&*t.
Maybe it's the alcohol. Maybe we should consider rehab.
Whatever.
I'm simply calling you out on your crap. (and having rec'd communiques of similar thought ... I'm simply speaking up)
pasale (sp) tonto!!
besos.

Like most of us, I've seen recidivist speeders hit topes so hard the back end of the car flew a couple of feet off of the pavement, and others drive off into the dirt or into oncoming traffic lanes to avoid them. They seem to primarily, and negatively, impact only those who don't need that incentive to drive carefully.

As to the title of this thread: tacos and beer (the combination) is my nomination.

drarroyo,

It is always appreciated when someone usually agrees with my views. However, my consistent theme is: Posters do not have to agree with me. I will often call someone on a topic or post in which I disagree. But what I require is a civil, respectful tone. ( I have maintained this attitude all my life; not just since the Tuscon tragedy).

On a rare occasion I will post something inappropriate, I too am human. Usually it is an, albeit rare (ha!), failed attempt at humor. I do dish that out, as a stand up and also while sitting down. But I try not to cause discomfort to anyone in my writing, at least not on a forum.

I do have a secret place where I do sometimes cause discomfort. I regularly manipulate characters on the written page to do all sorts of nasty, evil deeds. They say horrible things to one another. As narrator, I have the skills to dissect their ideologies and, while I am at it, garrote them, verbally, for their stupidity. But that is fiction. :smug:

We all know Dennis. He and I have often disagreed through the years. Yes, he can be all over the place emotionally. But we remain on cordial, mutually respectful terms.

I just thought you had made an unnecessary attack on Dennis. I do get your point that, if he has said those things you quoted, it appears out of place with the title of this thread. But so what? Why the rancor?

Maybe there is some history there between you two personally, which is really none of my business. But when I see something ugly that is posted, I try to smooth it over. For that, I have sometimes been accused of being a "wimp" or a Kumbaya Komrad. For that, I will make no excuses. I am comfortable with who I am.

And now I will take off my cape and return to my everyday persona (whomever he is).:saint::yawn:;)

:lol::lol: On second thought, you aren't Mexican so you cannot do right, as in "picture perfect". You and I will have to take a back seat in this thread. :)
