Different Way To Launch a Boat
Good video on boat launching. I will have to try this at the Serenidad boat launch site. No trailer needed.

I luv it.
Reminds me of a story................years back in Dana Point, I had a buddy who worked for the Harbor Department as a water cop, a deputy sheriff
actually. He was one day at the launching ramp and watched some guy having a terrible time backing his truck and trailer down the ramp to launch and
he mentioned to the confused driver that he should put a hitch on his front bumper.
The guy replied after pondering this suggestion, "Wouldnt it be difficult driving on the Freeway like that?"
True story.

Yup, Pescador has a 21.5 Center Console, and I just hauled it's baby brother, the 17cc down to La Paz. Mine seems like a very solid little boat so
far. There is a series of "extreme abuse" videos on the Triumph website. The Bubba Test was used as a commercial on The Outdoor Channel and Versus
cable channels. I was impressed. After seeing the boats at the Fred Hall Show in Long Beach, Ca., and at a dealer, I sought out the best deal on a
used one, and jumped on it!

Yep, I bought me one of them boats and it seemed to make a lot of sense that I kud drag her down to the rampy thing without needing a trailer. I am
seeing a little wear on the bottom so may reconsider.
Actually, these are great boats and are formed with a roto-molding plastic process and filled with foam and are very strong. They drop them from
the ceiling in the plant, push them off of cliffs, drop them from helicopters. The strangest thing I have seen is when you walk in to the dealer, he
hands you a sledge hammer and tells you to go beat on the boat. Try that with a new gel-coated Ranger boat with the sparkle stuff.

Lavro driftboats out of monroe, Wa has been hitting boats with 25# sledge hammers since at least the early 80's. They also dropped huge boulders on
them, launched them off cliffs...etc.
I've owner several driftboats and they are by far the toughest. To link this to Baja, I actually saw a couple guys here in baja a few yrs back. They
started in MT and fished their way all the way to the cape...hitting rivers, lakes and salt along the way.
