Wild wind last night!
Anyone else have wild wind gusts during the night? We must have had 60-70 mph gusts!
The observatory weather station states a low temp of -17 C!
Have to check out our road for fallen trees!

I had my bath towel hanging on the line and I can't find it anywhere. Had to retrieve furniture from the deck as well.
It started to blow this AM, but it seems to have settled down to a light breeze. Hope that's the extent of it. What good is middle of winter without
summer weather.

There was a lot of wind in San Felipe during the day yesterday, very gusty, but it calmed down around 6pm.
It was a cold night though. Down to 31.8F (just below 0C) on my weather station at around 6.30 this morning!

Still blowing hard here. I wanted to snap some shots outside by the Island but there is too much dust to see the waves. It has warmed 3 degrees since
the morning low of 46º.

The grass is always greener....

A VERY WINDY DAY IN BAY OF CONCEPTION..AND COLD!

Spotted this wild wind victim on the way to poker at Ana's today. One of many wind tossed items, I imagine.
Early this morning, I noted one 67mph gust. Temps to 44F and dropping at night..and with this fierce wind, I have never felt so cold in
Baja..EVER.
This is the second day of very high winds....and it's getting old fast.
I heard it is going to let up a bit manana..and by Saturday we will have calm weather. We'll see..
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Seven Elderly Ladies in Rosarito
Were taken to the hospital by Cruz Roja yesterday.
They were either blown flat down or staggered into traffic. One collided with a bus.
No fatalities that I have heard of.

We have two panguero fisherman from San Bruno who went out to Tortuga Island (25 miles offshore) who are stuck on the little rock island on the south
side and probably will not be able to get back before Saturday or Sunday. A lot of the guys check with me to see what the Bouyweather predictions are
before they head to Tortuga but these guys failed to do that before heading out. Monday and Tuesday were really flat and it was pretty good even as
late as evening on Tuesday. So hopefully they have enough food, and while they will probably be safe, it will be a miserable experience. The locals
are afraid to go on to the island proper because of the rattlesnakes that do not have rattles that inhabit the island, so they camp on this little
trailer sized rock on the south side.

this morning too so the seaweed fishermen couldnt go out...it sure made the dirt roads all nice and smooth and some new dunes around.

Bajarat We were cold. Low 40's last night. Got windsurfing today and I don't know the water temp but it was noticeably colder than before the Norte
10'+ faces on the waves. Exciting day
