Interesting Beer Discovery at the Mega Comercial Mexicana in Rosarito Today

They had a promo table set up in the middle aisle full of cardboard cartons marked "Victoria".

I pulled out a sample. It was a heavy, dark brown glass bottle, with an old style metal serrated, "no twist" top, and it was twice the size or more than the regular 350 ml. bottle.

The label said, "Corona Tradicional".

Any comments?

About 20 years ago at the old Comercial Mexicana there was a promo table set up giving out shots of tequila. Our youngest son, just 18 years old, took a sample from the pretty girl at the table. He said "What a country!!"

I saw this here in So. Cal a few weeks ago. Store owner stated it was Corona brewed in Mexico and exported to US. Currently, Corona sold in US is US brewed and tastes differenmt from the Mexico brew....must be the water or something!!!
