Machine gunned signs and buildings

Anyone else notice the sign on the scenic/cuota highway that has been shot to hell with a machine gun?

There was also an abandoned building on the leftside of the road, I believe before San Quintin that has a bunch of pockmarks in the right hand room. It is visible as you drive by. It looked like someone(s) lined up some people against the wall and hosed them down with a 30 rd clip or clips. Lots of graffiti on the building.

It definately got my attention.

I do hope they are just practicing to improve their skills to hit their target instead of just spraying bullets around and killing innocents. The narcos on the mainland don't care, maybe the Baja Narcos are more sportsman-like and take pride in marksmanship.

I figured it was in defiance to the police/military. It would be a bold move to shoot up a sign on the enforced cuota road. The building looked like the site of an assassination.

I believe the sign was right before you drop into ensenada. I am now back on the eastcape so I can't provide detailed info.

The sign is very easy to see, just look at every overhead sign on the cuota/scenic rd. It is a huge sign, maybe 10' tall and 20' wide.

on the building I just remember it's south of ensenada, but before SQ on the left. i think it is white/yellow with graffiti
