He runs a seafood restaurant in Newport, Orgon called 'Sharks'... Baja Nomads 'The Squarecircle' and 'BajaRob' have both been there.

Maybe business has picked up and he has no time for this Nomad nonsense that entertains us!

@ this point in time none only my Ram truck. the closed thing that I had to a MOPAR was a DUSTER i forgot the year, and yes i was told that my cat is the emblem for cougars, but no, is a THUNDERCATS emblem and a 80's cartoon that i used to watch.
I drive CATERPILLAR for a leaving so thats how I came out with my Bajanomad name BAJACAT, therefore I have a CAT emblem...

Sharksbaja's restaurant "Sharks" in Newport, OREGON ( that's NOB for y'all~~ ;) )was closed for remodeling for several months. It closed in sometime around October 2010. We were in Newport over Christmas and my one main goal was dinner at Shark's.
 major bummer as their cioppino is delicious!

I just checked their website and it looks like they are back open for biz! Yeayyy!

Next trip down to see Grandad will definitely include a Sharks visit!

Just a wild guess, but considering the demise of the Mulege home, and the money required for the restaurant remodel, just perhaps Sharksbaja lost the Baja part of the name. Once burned......

Is it just me, or doesn't this seem like a question that should be answered by the person in question?

Who else can better answer the question of where he IS (rather than simply where he WAS at times in the past)?

Name-dropping of persons who once visited him seems rather immaterial as well.

Nomad nonsense, indeed..............stick to lost MISSIONS, David.

Corky - Sharksbaja

http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=46966&pag...

Check Page 3 of this thread: Road Trip 2010

We went up the Pacific Coast on part of this trip. Just past the Sea Lion caves and Reedsport....we met Corky & his wife while having great meal at his waterfront district Newport cafe.."Sharks". I highly recommend having a few meals there..the menu is terrific and you need a couple different meals.

His special sauce is terrific, too:

(Bruce Lee took this photo for me)

Sharksbaja might want to forget some of the anguish he went through. I know I would. My opinion is....Best to leave him in peace and respect his privacy. He will come back if and when he decides to post again.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.
