Is it just me, or doesn't this seem like a question that should be answered by the person in question?

Who else can better answer the question of where he IS (rather than simply where he WAS at times in the past)?

Name-dropping of persons who once visited him seems rather immaterial as well.

Nomad nonsense, indeed..............stick to lost MISSIONS, David.

The person in question isn't here, Hook... that's the reason for the post.

Just some background on a Nomad who is in business, who has not been seen here for awhile... who was a regular poster... There are tons of new Nomads who have not seen posts by Corky since has last one.

If I dropped off Nomad (and had a business that could benefit with details like this), I would appreciate it.

Not sure what your point is, but joining Baja Nomad tends to get people to care about you... If you stopped posting here because you went to Sonora to live, and someone asked what happened to you... don't consider it an insult that someone offers an explanation.

Sharksbaja (Corky) can log on and say hi if he wants... and if he wants no part of Nomad and no business promotion, I will be happy to remove anything I posted about him, done in kindness.

Let's see, it appears you gave Sharksbaja exactly THREE MINUTES to reply to the original post before you decided that he wasnt here. :wow:

Just because someone doesn't POST, doesn't mean he isn't HERE. Though, I'm sure this is a radical concept to you; this ability to not post about every little detail of your life.

Give the man some privacy, for God's sake. If he choses not to post here, then maybe, just maybe, he doesnt want his whole work history, every disaster he's experienced, etc., as a hot topic on Nomads.

BTW, you DIDN'T ANSWER THE ORIGINAL QUESTION, did you? Of course not. Because you can't. Only HE can answer where he IS.

I will be awaiting your photo essay, replete with maps, anecdotes and faded polariods along the the Trail of the Lost Sharksbaja, now.................

Hook, settle down man! Don't know why you are so stressed about this thread when you are in paradise.

I don't understand you at all Hook, so I am sorry that I can't give you a good answer. If Corky wants to, he could reply... in the meantime, Jose asked where he was... I answered Jose, that's all.

If you stopped posting and Nomads asked, I would probably say something (and it would be as a freind telling another). That's all I was doing above... and since Corky runs a restaurant, what harm is it to tell others... isn't that how he earns a living?

If Corky doesn't want me to promote his restaurant or talk about him, he only needs to ask... and I will gladly remove my posts above.
