Looking to meet East Cape Nomads

Hola Nomads,
I will be spending my spring break, Apr.2-10, in the East Cape area. I wll be splitting my time between Los Barriles and SJD. I was hoping to meet up with fellow nomads that are in the area. Are there any regular get togethers, lunch, drinks, etc? My plan is to arrive in LB on the third and catch the art festival and hang around until Wed., then return to SJD for the rest of the week. In LB I'll be staying next door to Rancho Leonero. I'm bringing some light gear and would like to try surf fishing. Any recommendations? Wouldn't mind going out Panga fishing either. Don't want to rent a boat alone. Anyone know where I might check to share a boat? If anyone is available that would like to meet and share Baja info, I would really enjoy it. Feel free to respond here or u2u. Can't wait to get there, it's been nearly two years.

John, wear a Nomad something and I'll find you at the art festival. Right now the action is a little north of Los Barriles and that changes quickly now as the warm water ebbs and flows north from the Pacific. Look back on Serena's post of a few days ago about the great bite around Bahia de los Sueños and you'll see that for $100 bucks 2 guys with gear and beer can do well.

John
Jim and I will also be in Los Barriles for the festival. Please stop by our booth(Baja Books and Maps) and we can discuss the fishing out of La Playita.
Looking forward to meeting you
Judy

Judy,

Glad you will be at the festival. I was planning to stop by your store, and may anyway when I get back to SJD. See you on Sunday.

I don't have a gotee any more and I won't be holding a fish but I'll still be handsome.....

Looking forward to meeting you and telling lies....I mean Baja stories.....dt
