Welcome back Roger!

Thanks for the most excellent story about why you left!

I was hoping and prayin that you liked us too much to stay away! WE ALL REALLY LIKE you...and co-pilot too!!!!

I'm already looking forward to your new stories and future adventures!

And hey...don't be embarassed in any way about having too much DEMON RUM...we've all been foolish a time or two, or three, or four!! ...I know I've made a fool out of myself a few times!!

Take care Amigo!

Baja Fever - you had it bad, amigo. Glad you recovered and can still post.

PS: Be happy for the good times - past and future. We should all be so afflicted ('cept the hangover part).

Is This a Cry for Help?

I mean, I do not know Pompano (Roger, Rogelio) and I am not any kind of person qualified to to say anything.

But, to me, this sounds like a cry for help.

Im glad you're back. It takes a lot of cojones to unburden oneself so publicly. The irony is, I would have welcomed you back regardless.

But then, I don't live in Mulege.

I seem to have made that pledge once or twice. I think I started the sentence with God...if you help me....

I also had my head shoved in a toilet while chanting the above... I am sure glad all that is behind me.

Rum and coke- oh the memories. I too remember hanging over the toilet. One night in London after way too many rum and cokes I smelled something burning while hanging over the toilet. Turned out the burning smell was my arm laying on a hot water heat register!! On September 11th, 1999 my wife and I decided to change our drink of choice from rum and coke to just diet coke. That decision has worked out well for us!!

The tackle box would probably have made that story a lot shorter.
