HEY, ROGER

We have read all the rationalizations for being a drunk. Let's read the admission.

"Bless me Father, for I have sinned"

Well.....I missed the original post of yours. I leave for a week and you stir up the ol BN. Love it!

To come back on line as you did, making amends of the post....takes a real man to do. Once again you have painted a picture of yourself as being human......as all of us are. Show me a perfect person and I'll show you a fraud.

Being an ex Bar and Night Club owner.....I watched many men in business suits and women in their night's best attire....get smashed with the loco water.........unintentional. To call these folks drunks and/or boozers would not hold true....just a human with a drink too many.

I always find it refreshing to see that Bajanomads are human.....lets treat them as such.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Not a forum for AA........but a forum for Baja adventures and adventurers......Sounds like an adventure to me. There's a reason for everything.....Besides, any admission to anything about anything is strictly up to Pompano and Co-Pilot by his side. We have all had one too many as we have all made mistakes and I believe Pompano made his amends on this one. Move on......Thank you.

He is a drunk and won't admit it. His post was to solicit reinforcement of his denial and he is getting it.

Racheldarlin, you are tiresome. Your need for judgement and control is overbearing. I'm done with this conversation. Adios Amigos.

Pompano doesn't owe anybody anything, at least not on this forum. Did he F~up? Yeah, who hasn't? Did he luck out? Yep he did. Could have ended badly. The way I look at it, no harm no foul.

Pompano, maybe you can contact Rachel and give her whatever admission she's looking for and help her through this hard time she's having.

" ONE IS TOO MANY, AND A THOUSAND IS NEVER ENOUGH"
Took me 20 years to understand exactly what that quote really ment.
So be sure to think thrice before u pick up that first one.
Glad you dodged the bullet one more time. YOu gotta stop playing American Roulet cause one day you just might loose or win depending how you look at it.

Now, how bout a fishing report?;)

It all started with the poker game, the gambling. I love to play poker. I'm pretty good at it too. When it comes my turn to deal I love to play Night Baseball Chicago Lo Ball U roll Em. Sometimes Dr. Pepper Lo Ball. I get kind of confused about what beats what so when I get 6 or 7 aces then I know I got a good hand, I bet a bunch.

Sure would love to join Pompano and his pals on the beach at Santispac with my pockets full of quarters. Gettyup!

Arturo- took my wife and I about 20 years to understand that phrase too. It was our adult daughter explaining how our "one too many" was effecting her and our granddaughter. From that point forward we decided that diet coke would be our choice of drink.
