Thank You Sally, Thank You Bruce, your kind words are most welcome.
Art is such an individual gusto kind of experinse. There is an artist here in Oaxaca, Federico Flores is his name, I have written about him before.
For me, he doesn't even paint in a style that I generally relate to, but I believe that he is the finest living artist that Oaxaca has to offer at
this time. (Funny Toledo's style much more corespondes to my own, but I don't get Toledo at all, go figure).
Anyway, to sit on the bench in La Bastida Park (where Flores shows some weekends when he is in the mood), and watch the folks pass his art, some tune
in and I watch them as they get lost in his paintings, and than others pass and never even see. Yep, no doubt about it, it is as truly a different
strokes for different folks example of taste as I can imagine, what sings to ones heart doesn't even enter anothers.
