Friends were supposed to come last wknd. but heard about the shooting at the border of the 2 guys in the car and decided against it-stupid, I say. Did
anything more come out of that? They were supposed to have been guys that lived in TJ and worked in SD

US citizens, from what I can gather. Chamber of Commerce tried to sell it as a "Crime of Passion" but I don't buy it. That type of crime usually
involves "one on one." This was "two on two." Very kinky if passion was really the motivation."
But, with Easter Week stareing them in the face, tourism may have been more adversely affected if the reports came out as, "US citizens murdered in
Mexico. Reason unknown."

Like most of dennis' posts, yawn. Just because you have a thought doesn't mean you need to touch the keys.
but that is just my opinion as it seems the board is enamored with a guy that posts excesively. Again, just my opinion.
Dennis, you don't need to post to point out that you disagree. Show some restraint.

So...I guess you're going to tell me when it's alright to voice my opinion?
If you don't like my posts, don't read them, or are you no stronger than your impulses?
Get a grip on yourself, Stanley. Really....slide your typing hand down the front of your second hand pants and, if there's anything there, grip it
and don't let go.
If you're incapable of that much control over the little things in your life, tell it to someone else. I don't want to hear about it.

I like D's posts, but I'm not enamored with him,
at least I hope not. I don't know what excessive is, but this is
called a discussion board. No sarcasm intended, but I'm going to apply that line you have
to myself, 'just because you have a thought doesn't mean
you have to touch the keys', good one

stanburn ...out making friends?
Now take that other hand you have available and slap yourself a few times .... for stupid remarks.
Fact is folks.....crime is a real b-tch in many areas....not just Mexico. Want to read the same concerns and fears as there is here at BN? Read
below's link page...it's another Forum on Rio

When I was in Rio, I was with my wife, who's Brazilian, from Rio, and I was directly instructed to never wear a watch or my necklace. Trying to fit in
and not look like a tourist also helps. Don't wear clothing that screams I'm American if possible, particularly at night if you'll be walking through
sketchy parts of town.
When I was there, there were many police patrolling the beach and the highways. However, Brazil in general is a country of the haves and the have
nots. There is very little middle class in Brazil in comparison to many of the European/America/Canada countries.
IMO, you must play it smart form a tourist perspective. For instance, my wife's family when they go down for carnivale will not leave carnivale until
the sun comes up.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

They scoot or did you meant to say shoot?
