Happy Birthday to Mulegena and Surfdoc!!!
We survived yet another epic birthday bash at tio Javier's casa last night as we celebrated big time the birthday of Surfdoc Stan, our pal TJ and
Maria as well as the anniversary of the bajagypsies Todd & Alicia.

It's been quite a week here hanging out with the saskatchewan gypsies, their pals and Sirenita & Izaak...full of adventures...diving, snorkeling
with sea lions, partying, fixing up their casa and last nights celebration was....the bomb! Izaak loved his first panga ride and of course Juan had
him driving the boat!!

they brought a case of Labatts Blue...my old brand and it was real popular with the tribe here.

Surfdoc Stan cooked up a mean carne asada followed by faces in the cake as is the custom then lots of dancing and drumming (shoulda been here Dennis!)

there was even a good old fashon mexican shootout

One great thing about mexican parties is getting to play with the kids...they sure had a blast too.

Mulegena showing off her booty.....er presents!

today will be pulpo party on the patio and some beach time....wooo hoooo

Hey - What a BLAST!!! Wish we were there to celebrate with all you guys. Congrats to Maria & Stan! Sirena and Izaak are both living dolls and
I'll bet little Izaak will be fishing with Juan in no time at all. Saludos!

Lordy...I sure missed a good time. I can see that.
The reason I couldn't make it was, I was overwhelmed with inspiration while writing a birthday etc. song for the celebrants. I was at the drums
throughout the night and this is what I came up with.
Hope you all enjoy it:

Birthday Bash on da beach...
Thanks Shari & Juan & EVERYONE
Its always a delight to be in Asuncion-- dang, I just gotta live here! but this weekend was extra-special with lovely friends with birthdays and
anniversaries all-together. What a wonderful, raucous and delicious birthday celebration this weekend.
There was some good music blasting out of the car stereo speakers so I loved playing the drums with tio Javier on rhythm guitar. Everybody was dancing
and laughing so we couldn't hear the music half the time.
Thank you, Dennis, for the special birthday song composition. I was sooo touched by your thoughtfulness that I broke into tears while chopping the
onions for breakfast this morning!!
Really, this was a great party and fantastic weekend.
Now, back to hot, hot, hot Mulege.
i really have to move over to this side of the peninsula. it rocks!
