Aint no fun no more
Did the BN get invaded with nut cases?
Topics worst that the OT.
Links to dog crapola pictures (still love ya DENNIS) but I was eating!
Sorry...but I just dont get it when some idiots here use the words to call us "diaper heads", fat ladies, drunks, and an host of other "under the
belt" insults. yes...I am very good at giving out insults....but I do that when I am insulted the second or third time.
I come here to read about Baja, and talk with a great many fantastic folks here......many that have become a friend. To dig thru the muck here...aint
with my effort.
I out till this house gets back to fun.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Hi, mcfez
First, please let me introduce myself. I don't know you personally, but I like you because of how you present your persona here.
OK, now to the subject. Baja Nomad gets rough and high water at times, just like the flooding Mississippi.
And just like that river, it eventually ebbs and flows.
The perfect anonymity of free speech on the web encourages some people to post negative things that they would never express in a face-to-face
situation.
Is it cathartic or does it just reinforce the antisocial tendencies in some posters? I don't have any answers and, unfortunately, Amy Vanderbilt
didn't live to write for this new age.
Anywhoo, don't pick up your good thoughts and leave. We all need the positive input balance.

I concur Mcfez, but as a Junior here on BN I have been reading this thread for years. Yes the last few weeks and months have been challenging to read.
But don't let them win, you are stronger than that. They all soon will be getting a game misconduct and banished back to the minor leagues

But we actually have a decent chance in 17 years. What really gets me is that I leave for Loreto on Friday and the 3rd round starts on Sunday ! What
will I do? What will I do? To all cable and TV owners in Loreto, help me please
But it's 9 degrees ( Celsius ) for all you Yanks, today and been raining steady since 5:00 AM this morning. I am soo ready for some mid 30's and sun!

I appreciate your input on this board. Why let a few idiots ruin you having a good time interacting with people on the board?
PLEASE, DON'T MAKE ME START THE TURTLE THREAD JUST TO KEEP YOU POSTING!
Don't let the above threat weigh to much on your conscience as I swear, if you disappear from the Baja Nomads the rest of the people will suffer with
more turtle posts!
Don’t let the knuckleheads drive you away, then they win.

Puckdrop, get your hockey fix at Augies. I still don't get that damn game, a bunch of people skating around chasing a little round object! (Boy that
should get some of you all worked up!)

HA, HA Howard, no sport makes any sense. Think about it.
Golf, a grown man try's to put a little ball into a 4 inch hole ?
Basketball, even tho invented by a Canadian runs up and down the court trying to put a ball through a circle?
Baseball, well that's one for excitement, try and hit that little ball as hard as you can and run around a diamond shaped track?
Football ! well I really like the NFL but still gang's of grown men doing a pile on each other while trying to get that dam pig skin across a white
line? Hockey is ballet on ice. Except you try and clobber your opposition into the boards while trying to get that little puck past that big guy who's
protecting that silly looking cage.
There, does any of these sports make any real sense

Hey Deno.....Jan's statement is the most excellent, "all your gonna get" reason you should stick around. We effin love you, amigo. You are a Nomad
icon. Both of you.
We've told you when you run amok and you make your adjustments. You live and you learn.
Now, you have tenure. You talk and people listen. Not all here have that consideration, but...you do.
You've organized Nomad events that are in the books as huge and you quietly take no praise for your efforts. You're a modest man.
I almost said, "Quiet."
You arn't that. You are a heartfelt noise in your posts that give your opinions of right and/or wrong. You are a mentor and I greatfully consider
myself a disciple.
Your current dilema brings recollection of my days here that were intolerable for some. Not me....I loved it, but it didn't work for everybody. In
fact, it kinda ruined this place. I know that, but I don't regret my actions. I see them as what Nomads had to put up with and their patience for me
in that respect.
Ok....I'm off the point, Deno, that you are more than a recalcitrant Nomad. You, mi amigo, are my mentor and hero and if you think leaving this place
makes any sense, then I was really wrong about you.
Now what?
