El Faro Beach(?) near Estero Beach Ensenada


We used to camp there when I was a skinny kid in the 60s.

As was typical in most families then, my mother did all the cooking and most of the washing. My parents still have a black and white picture of my mother on a cold, windy day cooking something. She looked miserable. I can't blame her for not catching Baja fever.

I met Coco a few years ago and he mentioned that he used to work at El Faro in the 60s until he moved to the Gonzaga area.

Anyone remember him from those days?

Its Estero Beach, El Faro, Corona Beach,etc as you head north from Estero.I think Hermosa Beach is after Corona.
