Had to rescue a ground squirrel from drowning in a similar fashion once. We used a fishing net to get him out!

But, he was not 2 feet long! Good Luck.

Could Jim put a 2 x 4 (or straw broom....something that'd fit in there for him/her/it to get a firm grip on) in to crawl out on his own & maybe some kind of ramp for him to get down to the floor? Whatever you do, DON'T flush! I'm sorry! I'm not laughing at you! Don't try to get it out with your hands....they can be damn nasty!! And they move fast when they want to! I'd block anything close it could go under between the toilet & the door! Lock the dogs in a different room!

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.

I've heard two foot long items in the toilet called lots of things, but never "lizard".

http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=33112#pid3431...

This thread reminded me of a few lizard posts from the past. Your toilet lizard must not be of the same gene pool as Neal John's Stick Lizard or it would have come prepared for it's own rescue.

We really need a visual here. Fotos, por favor!
