Just looked at StormPulse, Russ. There's some activity south of you that may be moving in your direction. Keep an eye on it.

Yesterday I flew out of Los Cabos. I did not know how hot I have been the last few weeks until I got to Mexico City and realized that my upper lip is
no longer damp, the hair is no longer sticking to my forehead and the back of my neck, the general oppression of sweat over my whole being is no
longer an issue. Do I miss home? You bet I do. Do I miss the heat? Nope, not even.

Hey Howodd! I been living under a big rock in my cave. Uh....what is "climate change"? I asked Barney and Fred if that is the same thing as
"Global Warming" and they threw me out of the cave. And so....now here I am up here in the light and there's sure some weird sh*t goin' on up here in
the real world.

You need better insulation, my house is about 20 degrees cooler than the outside temp. And with that humidity a swamp cooler would work great.

Some folks handle heat better than others. I used to handle it OK but over the years my tolerance has diminished. I admire you guys down on the
southern end...

This just might be our first storm of the season & it went from 10% to 90% chance of tropical storm or greater in approximately 24 hours!! Pray
for a little rain but a lot of strong westward movement....right out into the ocean!

We hit 105 over here. Felt like DV in July. Or a nasty Santa Ana in the basin.
The Guaymas airport broke their record for the date by SIX DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!!
Of course, they have no idea what a FAHRENHEIT is.................

In Burma just before the monsoon it was 44ºC (112ºF). You could cut the humidity with a knife. Later in Rangoon it dropped to 41º.
When it gets hot here I try to remember what that was like.

Funny, my wife and I are just the opposite. When I was younger, I thought nothing of jumping in the 60 degree water off So. Calif and thought it was
fine. Now it has to be at least 75 to consider it, 80 is better. Seems that it is easier to find ways to cooll off than to warm up. I can't even
stand to watch movies with snow in them.

HOT ??
We left El Sargento/La Ventana about a week ago: Mid 90's, clear blue sky, light east breezes, good fishing days, the Baja life.
This morning: High 20's, actively SNOWING with 6-8 inches on the deck, 25 mph winds, possibly good ICE fishing, dreaming of the Baja life.
WHAT WERE WE THINKING ??

I remember talking with a woman from India last summer---I was complaining of the oppressive heat in Fort Worth---well into the 100s that day and
still in the 90s(and humid of course) around 10:30 at night---she says, oh this is nice weather--not to bad---you should come to India before the
monsoons hit!
