Damn-- after all Roger has contributed to this board and our enjoyment, you don`t care? What more could he do to make you care?
Thanks Rodger for your contributions here. Lots of effort to document your experiences and travels. Some of us are throughly entertained and look forward to more of your adventures, in Baja or on the road. And for those who don`t give a crap--- Just don`t read what you don`t care about.

Many DO care; I do.
But you just felt that you HAD to say something nasty !?
Don't know you but I like you less now.

He's probably up north visiting relations and doesn't ussually post much until he heads back south. I hope he's doing well and taking lots of pictures.

The board is definitely a less entertaining place without Pompano's posts. I also look forward to him resuming after he winds up his fishing trip "up north". Hope to see lots of Walleye and Northern pictures.

I sure care. Roger is one of the most interesting people I've never met. Hope he's doing well wherever he is and that he checks in soon.

All right, looking at the topic, it seems to create an issue. It came to light several months ago!
So why not start another thread?
It can contain two areas, one just because we hate Pompano, or two support him.
In reality he is a contributor for many years and has an interesting take and presentation of his life in Baja.
Gee can we not enjoy the forums? A forum is a disscussion and illumination of life, hopefully!

bajahowodd,
been reading your posts for a while, dont agree with you much, but to credit you,
you have a great command of language, I do not have your great vocabulary, punctuation skills, but, Good on ya, but you have become boorish, now you out of the clear blue, you attack a Nomad who NEVER, has said a harsh word to another Nomad
since I have been on this board, you just lost a ton a creditablity, hoss. Roger got a big gunnysack full of friends here, yours just got reduced to half a zip loc back of goat chiit.

I've met Pompano. He is a bit larger than life. And he's a sweetheart of a guy!

No need for controversy in a conversation about where he might be-- just good thoughts for a good guy.

fishing, boating, playing Texas holdem, BBQing, shopping with co-pilot, and taking her out to dinner, taking pictures of what he and she "see's".. traveling around _________ on a vacation up north....

Hate to think of all the work he has to do.. to put it all up... but, sure enjoy the fee ride and commentary... and I don't even know the big guy ...

Maybe, it was just the way it came out at the time... :):) it happens sometimes..

Roger (Pompano) is one of the outstanding Nomads who contribute so much positive information and entertainment and wonderful travel photo essays. Howodd, are you really hurting about something? Can we help (As Nomads should do for each other, instead of bashing)?

What's there not to like about Pompano and his posts? He might be dealing with flood water? Where ever he is I wish him luck.
