In case you are heading into San Felipe this week end...

Make SURE you have a room reserved.......should be plenty of campsites otherwise

Over the past weekend, San Felipe hotels experienced a very good influx of tourists as a result of the Record 250 Offroad races. Hotel occupancy approached 100%. In addition, the State Tourism Agency is holding extensive promotional events in Tijuana and Mexicali to encourage local visitors to spend their summer holidays in San Felipe. With the increase in reservations being made, it looks as though the town will also be doing good business for the upcoming July 4th. weekend. sfmex

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

I've been SF camping 'in town' for 15 yrs mas o menos,
it took me quite a while to understand what the owner
of the RV Park told me, that in the winter the RV gringos
are his clients, in the summer it is the Mex nationals
primarily from Mexicali. and when Mexicali gets 100 +, the campgrounds in town are full on weekends. It is festive
though, the inflatable banana towed by a panga, music
volume 10, good stuff. The term Colorfully Chaotic sums
it up. Can't speak for Petes Camp
or the places so. of SF

There are also many houses for rent that are reasonable and nice. Kind of depends on where you want to be. Nancy
