Mexicanos al Grito de Guerra...Felicidades. Gilberto makes things easy. I believe you need 10yrs of residency here these days; test was not
difficult! My Bilingual Teaching Certificates took me a couple tries over 2yrs!! Made a whopping $1000 extra each year? Ni modo. Congratulations. Tio

FYI...you arent obligated to give up your original citizenship....unless you want to. When you are in Mexico you are Mexican and cant go running to
the american consulate if something happens...when in the states you are american again!

hi all !!! Les drank the Pacifico in honor of Mexico, I drank the cachaca, pronounced cachassa (Brazilian) because it was my Brazilian citizenship
that granted me the opportunity to jump start the Mexican citizenship process a full 3 years before Les .... so I had to toast the LATINA in me ....
So now I am an american born, brazilian descendant turned mexicana. not even dual citizen but triple !! I actually have 4 citizenships, in another
lifetime I was married to a Frenchman. daaaaaaaaaaaaaaang. But I am very , very, VERY happy to become Mexican - there are so many community projects
where it will come in so handy for me to be a paisana.
Now, next step is to learn some REAL cusswords in espanol !!!
