KurtG...Norski relatives in Nodak..?

Good enough...kan du sprecke Norsk? You are cleared for visitation.

We have a hunting cottage just 40-50 miles northwest of Rugby, ND. Did you know that Rugby is the geographical center of North America? Interesting bit of trivia, right?

BajaJudy, fear not...we are relatively harmless, unless you have a working cellphone or an itch. Mainly we work hard and come from solid farmer stock. You are cleared for visitation. You CAN milk a cow, I assume? Milking time is at 4:30 a.m.

I kinda figured that I would have to be in rare form but my milking days are over.
I could bring a goat if I was lucky with road kill that day. Would that work?

Rugby, ND The geograhical center of North America.

That little known fact has won me more then a few drinks over the years.

I have been the west coast rep for a manufacturer from that town since 1981. It can get cold there! They do have both seasons though, winter and the fourth of July!

I recall the first time I went to Rugby in April of 1982 and the wind was howling from the west for three straight days over the very green, low rolling mostly treeless hills and farm land. I asked a local "What stops the wind?", the straightfaced answer was "Minnesota!"
