Could I ask "What the heck is TorC?".
If the vehicle was yellow, it may be Tina. She has a similar licence plate.
Gotta love Lordsburg after Stagecoach!! I expected a John Wayne museum there but only found some cheap motels!!!

If it was on a Ford p/u with a Callen Camper, maybe it was elgatoloco? I recall a Km. 50-something plate on his truck... or maybe it was on Baja
Barb's car???

That was my dad in his Town Car. He's a nomad for sure and been going to Baja since about 1935. He was heading home from the cabin in Ruidoso and will
probaly be at the beach house in Baja this week sometime. I have BAJAK55 and my sister has K55BC.

No rockets of late but we been keeping our heads down just in case. My
dad's father took him down fishing to Ensenada frequently starting when he was ten years old. As soon as he could drive he and his buddies would head
down every chance they could for surf, diving, fishing or whatever. When my parents got married in 1949 they spent first night of honeymoon at the
Hussong's Cabanas just south of where Hotel Coral is now. Dad converted a Metro step van into a camper and my older siblings and I grew up camping at
San Onofre,Doheny and Baja then my parents got a place at K55 in 1960 when I was two and the rest is history,so far.

i stand corrected.....
last time i surfed it was prolly 1980 with my girl and her parents. i was in 10th grade back then. seems there is a deep water shelf out there now.
campo lopez has always been "one of those spots" that you gotta put in the days to score....

Doheny!
Dana Point....what a great spot. We used to hang out at Scotty's Cove. It was one of the last private beaches in that area at the time.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

It's hotter than usual but not as bad as where you are Steve. We're getting monsoon clouds and a little rain which helps some with the hear - but ups
humidity. Not too bad. A little hotter most days than San Felipe.
