TS, Hurricane, TS Dora

Anyone watching the weather?

There was a post recently by someone (I forgot who) saying that "hurricane season has started early)...... I have felt the same way this season because so far everything has wandered towards the North/Northwesterly direction. Most years they all head due west or west-northwest up until mid August. This is the first year I have ever seen it where we have felt compelled to keep our eyes out for anything coming our way since the very onset of hurricane season.

Does anyone else notice this?

storm on the way

This one should stir up some good surf.

But, like Katiejay stated, kind of early for getting this close.
Hope it's not an indication of things to come.

Something to hope for in an otherwise calm Pacific.... And something to talk about night and day.

I don't want "good surf", but I do want the warm water to push on up, with some fish. I will be in La Bocana on the 23rd

Early season Teaser or Player? Let it rain , let it rain! If I may request from the Higher Ups, no tree downing, roof crashing, power outing winds! Our inter shore water temps are still mid 70s. Beautiful clouds today but low Humidity! Goin Surfin. Hasta. Tio

Judy, I will be watching your post, I count on you to tell me what's going on up there.

We have had steady rains off and on for seveal days and most of the night here in Coatepec, I wonder if it is the same storm front getting ready to head North up your way.

I had to share a quote from my daughter who lives in L.B. I Love her perspectives.

"Dora, there is no need to be an overachiever now, being a Tropical Storm is a perfectly acceptable path to choose. Hurricanes are overrated. Trust me, you don't want to become one."
