ALERT FOR LORETO READERS

Early this morning at 4:45 a.m. we awoke to noises at our next door neighbors home. Found someone attempting burglary of Harro's boat in his carport. Pickup was older, noisy compact pickup with lumber rack above pickup bed. Had trouble getting it started. I hollered at them, and after getting the pickup started after numerous attempts they took off. I jumped in my pickup and attempted to follow, losing them in the gravel side streets of Nopolo where this occurred.
Shouldn't be hard to spot pickup. Appeared in the dark to be a dark colored compact pickup. Rack with a plywood floor. In the back of the pickup filling up most of the room was a large white box, similar to the ones used for hauling iced fish. If spotted, contact local policia dept. that covers the town of Nopolo. They investigated (3 of them) about 5:15 a.m. after responding. Thanks. Phil S Also u2 me if you spot it.

followup on alert

After daylight, we inspected the boat, and found the boat cover slashed, and door into cabin open, and muddy footprints on the floor. No signs of anything stolen so we must have scared them off in time. House checked out o.k. also. Only thing left is in case anyone might spot the pickup going north or south, get a license number & u2u me. Thanks Phil

Get two Dobermans and let them loose at night, that usually scares off thieves.

And I'm willing to be dollars to donuts that the lumber rack was jerry-rigged from bamboo!! HEY JR, HAVE YOU BEEN "MOONLIGHTING" AGAIN?!:lol::moon::moon:
