From Baja Off-Road to Church (literally!)

JJ is an expat from Illinois who has set up shop just across the border from San Ysidro, and now has a thriving off-road shop where Baja-proof steel bumpers are CAD-designed one at a time. Diversification can be an interesting thing!

JJs Baja fabrication facilities

Some computer-designed handiwork performed by Jason

An Aluminum gas tank

A multi-link front and rear suspension (with Tom K. showing signs of approval!)

A Baja-ready Prerunner

A CAD-designed all-Aluminum Church adornment

This cross is for the big curch in Centro on calle 2. It's made from 1/4' aluminum plate, me and my brother Tony were contracted to weld it toghter.. In about a week it will be installed on top of the church.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Ken, you know I need a nice Baja-proven rear bumper, after Mision Santa Maria ate the corner of my stock chrome bumper last year... You think this place is good for something like this?

Ken, I have a buddy in Baja Malibu that may still need some more welding done to his Jeep and will try to get him to check this guy out if he still does. Heck, I will go with to check out this guy's welding projects also.
I use two buddies that own Dowden's Welding Shop on East Main in Brawley just as you living town for my aluminum and steel projects. Most of the people needing welding done on their Jeeps, Trucks, R.V.s and quads go to them as it is on the way to Glamis Dunes for them. I even use them to do some special welding projects on my Goldwing and Harley. These two brothers have been welding since high school and now both over 50 along with this being their dad's welding shop before he passed. Welders that know their trade can sure put out some very nice looking projects.
