Run Jane run, Run Dick run!

Let?s not get bored! The worst part of leaving Baja is not our long 14 hours drive home to Sacramento. Not the fast food garbage we feast on, along the Ca-5. Certainly not the stink of the cow ranches down in Merced County. It?s the wait and the poking we get at the international exit gate lanes, in Mexicali.
The wify and I always wait for some vendor to show us the world?s crummiest ?handcrafts?, or to get our windows washed so many numerous times. Perhaps the guy with the broken ankle (in a cask) that has been there since last year, no kidding. That?s all so boring.
Well?we found a way to entertain ourselves as we wait in the lines! I was glancing around towards the steel bar fence that is placed along side of the exit way lanes, when I saw two guys acting strangely (behind the bushes). Driving slowly up closer to these two guys as the line went sloooooowly, they were using metal hacking blades to cut through the fence! We?re talking about 3 inch square steel stock with a rebar interior base. My thought was, these two guys are stoned! Saw they continued?even after our flash of the camera.
Passing this, I noted that the same fence has been violated numerous times. Many repairs have been made. At the last of the noticeable fence, there was a boarder patrol car, with the agent using field glasses, looking down along side of the U.S. side. He was in the ?wait?. Poor two guys, after all that effort
So?next time you are bored at the gates, look for the sawyers. Look at how many hundreds of times this fence has been violated. I hope that the honest in need, got out!
