Would like to cross paths . . .

Another side of Baja coming with Indio, my mule, are Cabalgatas . . . riders from a given area and surroundings all riding under a hot Baja sun guzzling fluids to avoid dehydration. Always have dances or such, a mountain of Tecate . . . both colors, and even a truck running the length of the ride making distribution. Lots of leather and mountain animals.

The cabalgata this week-end is in San Ignacio.

Will leave Loreto Saturday morning spending the night at Rancho Guerro, where the cabalgata starts . . . and ride into San Ignacio. 4 hour ride.

Town festival in the plaza, camp at Rancho La Noria and return Loreto Monday morning.

Bahia Asuncion mid August!

Don´t know anything other than August 13 and 14. Saturday and Sunday.

Will get infomation in San Ignacio.

There is a Cabalgata from La Paz to Todo Santos October 8 and 9.

Leave for La Paz on the 7th and return to Loreto on Monday the 10th. Expect to see my favorite Tio there and others.

November, a private ride Mulege to San Javier through Paso Hondo etc. Younghusband will be there.

Along the way, should you see a white guy with a Gus hat riding a Pinto Macho, say, ¨Hello!¨

I was there last year for the fiesta in San Ignacio - the Cabalgata riding into town and filling the plaza in front of the Mission is the highlight of all the activities.
