La Boda de Miguel Angel(one of our captains) & Evaline

Weddings arent real common here but this one was marvelous!!! Many of you know Miguel Angel who is one of our fishing guides and just the sweetest man ever as is his lovely new wife Evaline who is a school teacher.

La Cancha looked beautiful and everyone was so elegantly dressed....even the flip flop gringos got gussied up...hell, I even put some lipstick on!!!

the band was pretty good and we danced till after 3 in the morning.

the next day was La Comida at Rancho Illusion where we ate barbacoa and enjoyed the music...Mulegena sat in on the jam with our drum. It was a wonderful weekend of celebrating the joining of these two great kids.

the ladies got a little wild towards the end of the afternoon...lots of shreiking and laughter

Here is a slide show of the reception.

This was a stellar weekend.

The bride and groom are both such good people. Their marriage a real asset to the community.

Such fun, both days and nights. Seeing and being seen, everybody clean & freshly pressed 'n dressed up in our funky Baja-style "formal wear" was a hoot. And watching those dancers... grace & style personified-- the women in jeans & killer high-heels spinning the floor in unison with their man was entrancing... or was it the bottle of tequila so graciously provided to each table?

Wow! 'bout sums it up
