Summertime, & the dried mangos are tasty (in San Bartolo above Los Barriles) !!
Don't know specific method ... but do it if you're in the 'hood.

Wrong Mangos

I stumbled in thinking this might be another post about NFL Cheerleaders.

Carry on.

I freeze them the way Michman describes.
As far as drying: I have a forced air dryer. No idea where I got it. Probably one of Barb's finds at a fleamarket in Sacramento.:P
It has a dozen trays and holds from 40 to 50 peeled and sliced mangos. Takes about 12 hours to dry them sufficiently for storage. We still keep them frozen to prevent mold setting in, just in case there's moisture left.
BTW, this unit works also great for making jerky.

Those are surfing implements and this was in Nicaragua- where I never found a mango as delicious as the ones we have here.

I will be making frozen mangoes today - what a treat to have them all year round.

I think he is talking about a dehydrator. Same can be done in an oven on very low for several hours. We make sun dried tomatoes this way when we have too many to know what to do with them.

Soulpatch- I never encountered a patient with an acute Mango reaction or recall a patient listing Mango as an allergy. Pretty sure I'd remember something as tragic as that ;D. Bummer.

Any Mango growing tips would be greatly appreciated.

Soulpatch, Read somewhere that the skins have a very low level of the same poison as poison oak? maybe something to consider.

As for a Dehydrator I have used these for years. Works for just about anything, and cheap to use.

Mangos

Hola
I used to pick the mangos from our tree for the last 10 years.
Last year I started to get a bad rash. Couldn't figure out from where. This year the first day down I picked some for shakes. 2 days later rash appears, eyes swollen shut.
Looked up mango allergies. http://www.livestrong.com/article/179501-mango-skin-rashes/
Ended up going the clinic to get a steroid shot. All better now. Now I need to where gloves when I pick and clean them.
