A Mexican security helicopter landed at a Texas airport by mistake last week too. Oops. I think the places incursions occur should be fenced or a
line drawn so everyone knows where the border is. If it was a big deal, there would be a fence- right? It also helps to recognize the USA flies
military drones over Mexico collecting information and we have security operatives in Mexico... so it goes both ways.

It kinda depends on what they're doing, I suppose. If they're lost, send them home. If they're up to no good, make an issue of it.

I'm catching the stench of a troll. I wonder how much of a "Mexican" your husband is. His thinking is more in line with that of a pocho. A real
Mexican would likely take pride in such invasions (you mention that it's "always," the implication being that this happens on a regular basis), given
the historic relationship between the two nations. Mexicans are still quite proud of Pancho Villa's incursion into the US.

I don't recall it happening along the CA border but along the AZ and NM and TX border. Sometimes it was that they were lost, most likely at night.
Sometimes it may be drug runners checking to see if they can get across. If it is drug runners the US may be tracking them to see where they go.
Unless the Mexican army and the US Border Patrol get into a shooting match I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I be concerned to see the People's Republic of China coming down some Arizona border town bridge. That be a real issue!
Border intrusions happens all the time with Mex and the US. Big deal.

Troll she may be, but I am not getting that. At least, I don't think she is a retread.
The retreads have been popping up a lot lately, mostly in Off Topic. They carry the same themes and targets, and their writing styles are easily
identifyable. These old retreads hammer out the same tired stuff year after year: Vengence ; against BajaNomad for getting banned;
hatred ; of Liberals, Mexicans, Mexico and Mulege in particular; hatred for specific Nomads; racism; false impersonation of Nomads and making
up lies with the intent of character assassination on other websites.
Aimee is different. Her themes are religion, injustices and now...Mexican military incursions into the U.S. Who knows if she is legitimate or just a
goof/troll? I am leaning towards thinking she is legitimate. I don't detect hatred or any political axe to grind.
Where she bears some similarities to retreads is: myopathy, vehemence and obcession. Her thinking appears to be muddled, but persuant to a particular
theme.

The Chinese have already landed, and have a solid foothold on the high ground of the US...
They will not take over with guns or army's... they'll do it with our own good old Lawyers and use the Forclosure strategy,,,,
They already own a good portion of our finacial structures...
This is an issue........not some tired coporal who made a wrong turn.
Sorry David missed your post or I'd have saved my fingers and just said ...X2.

US Airline pilots have been known to land at the wrong airport......
I would imagine that a Mexican Army helicopter pilot has an above average intelligence level, and their helicopters should have onboard GPS
systems.....sounds like a stupid attack to me...unless there is something more sinister going on.....like the extradition of a drug czar.
Mexican Army ground troops might have trouble with border crossings if they can't read a map or are not equipped with, or cannot use a GPS.

carefully. Thanks,

Out of curiosity, Jesse, how do you feel about Pancho Villa's midnight ramble through Colombus, New Mexico?

I attended a party the other night at which I was the only American. After several rounds of drinks, I proposed the question and found that, while a
few agreed with Jesse that it is wrong, nobody felt it was a big deal and several mentioned the history between our two nations and thought that we
had little standing to make a big deal about it. Three had no problems at all with it and, indeed, felt a "Viva Mexico" was in order.
As someone whose training is in cultural anthopology, I am aware of the biases that can be produced just by who the questioner is. I wonder what
answers would have come up if no Americans had been present. I stand by my original assertion.
