Tijuana Off Road Expo Weekend (notes)
Fact: I had been planning on attending the Tijuana Off Road Expo for roughly 6 months, and I still missed it! Impossible!
Fact: The hours for the Off Road Expo were from 9AM until 5PM - Very early hours, IMO.
Fact: By 1 p.m., all of the ECONOMICAL PARKING SPACES in San Ysidro were already taken! Either pay $5 every 8 hours (behind the Jack In The Box) or
find an airport with long-term parking. Otherwise, you're out of luck, pal! Because, Tijuana is now a summertime destination for many.
Fact: While Taxi Libre is an ECONOMICAL TAXI COMPANY, It will still cost $10 US to travel from Soler to Calle Revoluccion - one way. GOT CASH?
Fact: Too many logistical problems led to Leidys and I missing the Off Road Expo this year.

Huh? 8 hours for $5 (you got there at 1 pm)... You only needed 4 hours... or $10 to stay longer and have dinner in TJ... Wish you called, you guys
could have stopped here for a visit, some chill time, hot tub, beer, burgers.. Ken?

The plan was to sleep over in TJ to escape the heat in the Inland valleys. 100+ deg. at the moment...
No problem, though. We had ourselves a great time, and got to visit with a couple of rock crawler guys (Chris & Tom). I hate rushing myself
within Baja California for any reason.
