You're a good man, Woody. I know without asking that she would like to have one of these:

I love a fund raiser in a bar... count on us to donate two nights at the Blowhole B&B for the auction/raffle whatever....thanks to the organizers of this event.

come on all you business owners...step up to the plate and help make this fund raiser a success.

Sorry Woody. But for someone who can drive hundreds of miles SOB at the drop of a hat, just seems to me that an hour drive to Dana Point is something you can work out. I'm going. And, it's about an hour from where I am. Wonderful cause.

David K -
Thanks for posting this. A great cause, and a stressful time for Sallysouth and family I am sure. My best wishes of course!

Yes Sherry and others, bring on the auction items, I will be there bidding and hope the day helps bring a cure.

Dana Point offers a fine vacation spot, with lots of water oriented activities. I was there this week, and was able to see the huge Blue Whales within 3 miles of shore. Hope to see many of you there to show our Baja Nomad support!

Toss in a fishing trip out of La Salina (about 30 miles south of border). Here is a sample of what we would go for--

I can take two on my small boat, all money is donation!! Oh, I`ll clean your fish too!!

A more recent report, posted by my fishing buddy Cory ----

This is great to see Nomad's with Baja businesses donate their product or service to increase the amount of bids, to get more people to come to Dana Point, CA (this is just north of San Clemente which is just north of San Diego County).

U.S. business owners, you can offer something of value as well... and it will expose your business and provide a great service for a wonderful lady and her family.

A lot of auctions have phone bidding. If you could set that up you could make more $$. Any smart phone can take a credit card. You just go online and get the FREE card slider called "The Square" that plugs into the phone and download their app to the phone. Then you sign up. It's 2.75% plus .15 per transaction. The money is deposited in your account. Here's the link to "The Square"

Just asking and I am not shy at this time...trying to save Mijas life...Thanks, Sally(thanks for posting on your site!!!)

After I posted I did have second thoughts, inasmuch as Woody did seems to raise the issue of how folks can help even if they cannot attend.

My bad.
