I'll bet every expat enclave in hilly terrain has a "Gringo Gulch." First one I ever saw was in Puerto Vallarta around 45 years ago.

Left Long Beach, CA in 2004 on a sailboat, ran around Mexican waters for 2 years, wasn't getting the assimilation I wanted......so....sold the boat
and bought a house in Manzanillo, Colima, MX.
That is where I have lived full-time since Feb 2007.

I live in a coffin with a great view.
Good thread, Amopescar.
I am currently living in a coffin at 10040W; 4830N. The honest-to-God official geographical center of North America...Golly-gee.

My digs....Aptly called a 'Coffin Blind'.
Special housing for nomad waterfowlers, dead or alive (the jury's still out on me...)

(please note absence of rum bottles..)
My front view:

My side view:

hmm...sorry about the big size of my photos..will downsize the next ones.
My rear view:

Hey, Don Jorge!...Nice photo of the farmstead!
Say...did one of Randy's (The Purple Sage) 'sailors' make it to your farm pond by chance? He's always aiming slightly behind...

.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Looks comfy, Roger. Do you ever just fall asleep while waiting for something to show up?

All the time, Igor...all the time. Randy and I are looking into a 'duplex' coffin.
