Futon type sofa wanted

For a guest room, a futon style sofa or similar. I am at the south end of Rosarito in El Pescador and if it fits in a minivan, can pick up if it isn't too far away. I guess I lost out on a nice one in Punta Banda, but hopefully someone is "cleaning house". Thanks.

Hey Zoe....there was one listed today on the Punta Banda BB. Also, if I remember correctly, another one, same place a few days back.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/puntabandanewsletter/

Teak bed (can be used as Guest bed or Daybed) sale

Going back to LA Thursday, special offer of beautiful hardwood (Teak) day or guest bed from Indonesia before I leave. USD 250 includes Futon mattress and silk cover.

Bed is taken apart and ready for transport. At the moment in La Joya to be picked up. (There is also a sister day bed to look at assembled). Mattress can be replaced for larger one. The futon mattress has been slept on once and is absolutely clean. Bed is in immaculate condition and was purchased in Los Angeles from Zion who imports directly from Indonesia. Write me with any questions. Thanks.

Dimensions of bed 83 long x 51 Deep x 33 Height of back; 28 1/2 height of sides)

Futon Mattress approx. 70 x 42 x 8

Country of Origin:Indonesia

Dennis, I called about the one in Punta Banda..day late. Darn. The Indonesian one looks and sounds beautiful but a bit pricey for me right now.Just had to pay $400 to have a phone line installed..accck! Thanks for the info, however. Yes, Bajaguy, Segundas but there aren't a lot around me and haven't made it to Ensenada yet, but will get down there and look in second hand stores for sure. Lots in San Diego, too. Just thought I'd try this venue first.

Segundas to me are ok..but for bed mattresses and used futon mattresses, YUK!! You are better off picking up one in San Diego. I have a futon in my livingroom right now that needs a new mattress..the new mattresses they sell in Coppel and other places here are really poorly made...pick one up in SD....or LA probably cheaper...you don't want anyone's head lice in your house...

I hear you, Ensenada. At least it really isn't a "bed" but still nice to have a super clean one and they are out there. I should have been faster on the trigger for the one in Punta Banda.

You deserve better...

Treat yourself to a non used mattress, you'll feel better...dust mites grow in mattresses and even the gently used ones have these ugly looking creatures...BTW talking about used, someone mentioned about grinding up meat from steak bones left from their friends from restaurants and putting it in to their chili on the Women's fishing group thread..
