Mood: Savoring life while saving the world!

Are those wedding bells I hear???

Every little girls dream is to have their very own big, white wedding with that special someone at some point in their lives. To be able to feel a certain space in their hearts filled, to be taken care of and to be able to take care of someone in return...I am so so very SUPER happy to share the news with all of you my dear Nomad friends that that day has finally come for me!

Yes I know we switched up the order of things by having Izaak first, but to tell the truth, I would not change a single thing even if I could, my son is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and now he gets to share this special day with both of his parents, who love each other and love him very very much.

I could go on and on about how excited we are, and the dream of eternal happiness, etc etc...But...unfortunately I'm just not cut out to be very corny...SO, the above stated is about as much gooeyness as you can expect from me, but I will say that I could not have chosen a better person to share my life with, Adrian is caring, thoughtful, honest, and so many other good things, but most importantly we love each other very much and can not imagine our lives without one another.

So that being said, let's get in to party details!

We will be getting married on the beach in front of Campo Sirena, then later that evening we will have one hell of a party!!
When Adrian and I initially sat down to discuss the actual wedding, we both agreed we wanted a small intimate ceremony with the important people in our lives, but then as we thought about it, we realized that there are just far to many important people in our lives to keep it small and intimate.

Which brings me to all you Nomads...I've been on this board for a few years now, you have all watched me go from a teen to a young woman and then embark on the amazing journey of motherhood. Many of you have met both Adrian and me and Izaak as well, many others I've spoken to only through the forum board, but I consider a great many of you as part of my extended family, which is why I would like to make an open invitation to my nomad friends, to share this amazingly special day with us!
Now, keep in mind that since our accommodations are limited some of ya might want to bring a tent...or two?
The date is set for December 29th, the time is still subject to change due to tide or weather.

More than anything I wanted to share this news with all of you, because like it or not, Baja Nomad and everyone and everything that comes with it has been part of our lives for a very long time, and it wouldn't feel right to not have you all be a part of this, at least in spirit.

For those of you who are thinking of coming down, please let us know in advance so we can organize food and accommodations.

So...Who wants to party!!

We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev'rybody and sing

Ev'ryone can see we're together
As we walk on by
and we fly just like birds of a feather
I won't tell no lie
all of the people around us they say
Can they be that close
Just let me state for the record
We're giving love in a family dose

Living life is fun and we've just begun
To get our share of the world's delights
high hopes we have for the future
And our goal's in sight
no we don't get depressed
Here's what we call our golden rule
Have faith in you and the things you do
You won't go wrong
This is our family Jewel

!Felicidades Serenita, Adrian, y Izaak!

Carumba! What great news!

Congratutions Sirena y Adrian!

From your first post, Nomads knew you had the 'right stuff' in you. You're a sure thing in my book, Sirena..and it’s amazing what you have been able to accomplish in such a short time.

I hope you have many happy and exciting years ahead....do them with gusto!
