Lock the door and don't let him out until after sunrise. He changes after dark and eats only raw meat and cactus.

As for which guy he is... here is a photo of Rudy (El Comandante Loco) on the right... and BajaLou on the left, at Lou's final turkey festival, New
Year's 2009:

I first met Rudy (El Comandante Loco) at our 2004 Matomi Canyon tour out from Nuevo Mazatlan. Here he is with Mike Humfreville, in Caņada el Parral
(Azufre Wash):

Blanca and Les, We made it back safely around 3pm on Saturday. Thank your for your hospitality and assistance. Staying at the copa cabana was a
treat. The house is well decorated and most comfortable. Will definitely be back to the copa.
We fished with Domingo and caught our fill of good size yellow tail and one Dorado, medium size around 15lbs.
When we come back Domingo is our #1 choice for captain.
We camped at campo Rene and enjoyed it, going back there is a must. From campo rene we moved on to Asuncion a short and quick run up the road. In
Asuncion we stayed at Verdugos hotel which is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Victor at the hotel took good care of us and allowed us to set
up our camp kitchen and bbq. He enjoyed our cooking...;
We fished with Manuel Arce, calico loco, who put us on the fish, all good size yellows some in the 25lb range.
Again, garcias...

Sounds like you had a great time---that is a good thing.
We heard that Campo Rene has changed ownership and we wondered if they have cleaned up the bathrooms a little better, or any other changes they have
made? We hear that they are wanting to make it a consistently better place?
We really love that place and would like to visit soon, so we are hoping for consistently. :-)

Hi Diana
Sorry we did not have a chance to meet you while we were in Asuncion. Heard many good things about you.
Since we have never been to campo rene it would hard to compare the state of the restrooms however they did appear to be in a good state of repair
they were clean and the showers were fine. Heard from one of the staff there that the campo had been purchased by the coperativa and that there are
plans for improvements and expansion..

Thanks! I don't think we were in town when you were there, but we sure hope we are there the next time you visit and we do get the chance to meet.
And thanks for the report on Campo Rene----love that place!
