Egotists and idiots

I find it rather humorous to hear a bunch of P-nche gringos whining about how I do what I do for recognition from gringos.
I have spent 3 years doing nothing but helping sincere, honest people, obviously something many of you would know nothing about.
Many of you have helped with these projects and continue to do so. These folks are intelligent enough to see through the very few, braulio, humfreville, jeans, bobs and tuckers who claim to know what I am about. Fortunately, those who have met me and know me know that I am in fact sincere about what I do and unfortunately for some (P-nche gringos) I am brutally honest.
This is what the P-nche gringos do when they are confronted with honesty. They make accusations but offer nothing valid to back up their claims. soap opera P-nche gringos to be sure.
I have already managed to pee some of them off down here but fortunately, who gives a rats ass? They're just P-nche gringos:lol::lol::lol:

I like both versions because they are soooooo true.
And who doesn't like honesty (well most Gringos don't like honesty, that's what I learned) just has to learn that there are better people in this world than Gringo's.
i.e. Mexicanos!

Or brutally opinionated...I've met you and you seem totally sincere about what you do. But to talk down to some because we can't live in paradise is wrong. If we all moved in next door, what would you say then...:o:o

I would say that

it would be a wise move on your part to grow bamboo for the residents of a certain mountain village.:light:
As far as talking down to some, I generalize a lot about P-nche gringos. I have no idea who on here fits into that category but, I assume that those who attack me without actually knowing me probably have a nice fit in the proverbial huarache
I have never attacked an individual on here without being able to back up what I say. I suggest that anyone who wants to actually learn the truth :lol::lol: they go back and read all of my posts before listening to a bunch of P-nche gringos who have taken it upon themselves to say that even bamboo is bad because I am growing it:?::lol::lol::lol:

Blame it on JR

Somehow I blame you for all these new(sic) found friend(s) that will probably end up on all my posts with their valuable input for the rest of my life. Really, what would life be like without the cheering/booing sections. People that detest each other usually try to avoid each other. There lies the conundrum. Its obvious certain"fans" are drawn to each of ones posts/threads weather or not they reply for reasons unknown. This doesn't mean they are particularly interested. It just means they want to hear what YOU say. The beautiful aspect of the boards is the (almost) free speech element. It is just sad our "info" so many times is just garbage and bogs down the sites main purpose. I guess it comes with the turf. And JR, see how u r just a magnet for all intellects. You should be so proud. These boards never cease to amaze me.

JR and Dave

I value and enjoy all your postings, especially by your swift and targeted responses to the murky mess from comments made by the the nasty, snide or otherwise ignorant.

I know that an open forum, when it is at its best, must offer differing opinions; but mean spirited dialogue is only designed to drive the voices of reason away.

It seems like both of you have a touch of cabin fever, in different locations and for different reasons.

IMHO, both of you get out there; go have a nice evening with food and music and whatever...

Dave, you don't need to lie to women

Just don't answer. Ever. Here are some suggested responses to that question and a couple of others like it:

Question: "Honey, does this dress make me look fat?"
Answer: Walk quickly out of room muttering "where the hell is that damn remote, anyway? I gotta see what the score is before we leave."

Question: "Did you notice the low cut blouse that _______ [the girlfriend of your best friend, who just divorced his wife, who is your wife's best friend] was wearing?"
Answer: Walk quickly out of room while saying "Darn, y'know I forgot to pick up more cat food on the way home from the party . . . be back in a couple of minutes."

Question: [Trying on expensive piece of jewelry at department store counter] "Honey, what do you think of this one? It's my birthstone."
Answer: Pick up her purse and walk quickly out of store with it, saying "I need to check the meter -- wouldn't want to get one of those $38 tickets." Once out of earshot, call department store on cell phone to cancel your revolving line of credit.

Question: "This new recipe is sort of an experiment. What do you think?"
Answer: Knock over your wineglass, throw napkin on the spill and walk quickly into kitchen, saying "was that the last of the red wine? Damn. Should I open that chardonnay or run down to the corner?"
