i got 13.6 pesos for the dollar at the mulege bank yesterday 
 
and $2.73 usa for diesel at the gas station

For 800 Pesos, I can fill my 15 gallon Jeep tank and (2) 5 gallon Jeep cans - roughly the same amount of money as filling the Honda Pilot (18 gal)
that I drive daily (when filling up in the United States).  Talk about being easy on the wallet!  This is one of the reasons why I love traveling in
Baja.
