This man is an American who says in the video he is in Ensenada four days per month at various locations. They call him "Juan Loco" -- Crazy John. He
does a quick eye exam for 20 pesos ($1.50) and gives the people bifocal glasses. He says he is with a church group from Los Angeles. He also says they
do the eye exams in Ojos Negros and prisons in Mexicali.
The elderly woman he gives glasses to at around 3:20 in the video says she is 78 years old. "Juan" is saying he gave her bifocals with a 1.25 diopter
for far vision and a 3.75 diopter for near vision.
This guy's legit. He's on a mission for Gawd. I see him a lot and have even bought reading glasses from him. When he's in town, he comes into
Paty's coffee shop early AM.
I've never heard the "loco" thing......... don't know why anyone would call him that and I don't have time to look at the video so I don't know if I'm
missing something.
i think he works for the crazy guy at catavina who used to manage Elvis......
formerly Ordained in Rev. Ewing\'s Church by Mail - busted on tax fraud.......
Now joined L. Ron Hoover\'s church of Appliantology

He's helping a lot of people see better. I suppose that's worth something. I suppose the only reason he charges anything is to keep some from draining
his inventory. Charging twenty P's isn't like running a successful buisiness in spite of Hacienda.

Yeah, but...

He's only one of many. We're overrun with illegals working here without proper documents and it's no secret to anybody. At least this guy is doing
something good and I think it's appreciated.
I've always thought the authorities turn a blind eye to these infractions for fear that a crack down on offenders down here would prompt a similar NOB
reaction.
Besides....this guy isn't taking anything away from a Mexican worker. He does his thing in prisons and swap meets.....for a little bit of nothing.
