Eat breakfast at Rio Colorado

Drive my quad on the beach

Lunch at taco factory

Drink a few beers and or Margi's

Buy carne asada from vaquita II

Drink a few more beers and crank up the tunes

Start a fire at sunset

Have a few beers

Cook dinner while having a beer

Eat dinner, with a few beers

Pass out

Just so happens that I will be. Saturday I will be fishing at my favorite spot known as Los Molcajetes. I've been fishing there since I was 10-years old. In all that time I have never, ever seen anyone else there. The rocks in this area are pure lava formed into giant molcajetes from millions of years of pounding surf.

I assume that there is a deep channel there because I've actually caught Sheephead there many times. The place is only accessible with 4x4 and very isolated. I sit there with an ice chest full of beer and just fish. I don't have to catch anything......just being there is awesome and you really take a mental "dump" while there. After that I head back to my friend's casita and just eat all the oysters and clams that I can.

Ain't that the truth!! My dad's last visit to Baja was when he was 85. As soon as we got to San Quintin he was rejuvenated and running around like a little kid.

Not entirely sure - surfing, fishing, etc. - but whatever it was, it'd be capped off with 6+ ice cold Tecates. :bounce:

Oh yeah....nothing like the cool pacific breeze for me. No smog, no traffic, and no cell phones. Hell I don't even wear a watch down there. At night the sound of the waves crashing on the beach just rock you to sleep. In the morning a nice cold tecate with a little Klamato and lime juice for breakfast/hangover. Uh huh.

Mood: TEQUILA!

[*] posted on 2-15-2012 at 12:02 PM

We will be in Baja this weekend and more than likely will be sitting at the water's edge sipping on some tequilas:

BTW, bajaguy, will the parade also be on Friday? We need to get to the Wine ministry to purchase tickets for the VINO Y CONCHA event, two months later.
