Maybe at the Hotel Coral, Udo. If the weather this weekend is anything like today, you'll freeze your butts off at the beach.
I've been trying to tape sheetrock all morning and the mud won't even begin to set up.

UDO

No parade on Friday in Ensenada, however there is a wine event, the Baile de Mascaras y Disfraces at the Rivera. Starts at 6PM on Saturday the 18th, 250 pesos each. 30 wineries, tastings.

Is that a Mardi Gras event, Terry? Seems like all events down here are turning into trade shows for the vintners.

Saturday?

Whatever I was going to do on Saturday, I think I already did it.

Weather report looks worse for Saturday, so you best get it done sooner.

Eat breakfast at Rio Colorado !

Off to find a good trail or a great fishing hole.

A little repairs and such to the house.

Start the bon fire in the front yard......and exchange bogus stories with friends

Last but certainly not least: stargazing

I was scheduled to leave for Baja tomorrow but have a dog that underwent emergency surgery on Monday. Hope to leave early next week. My plan was to get to Bahia Concepcion, launch the boat and go spear a nice triggerfish for dinner and maybe knock back a ballena or two while watching the waves lap at my feet. The next day I would repeat the process. Never gets old...

The only thing in Baja that get's old to me is that stretch before and thru Maneadero into Ensenada proper.

Amen to that. Is it just me or has that gotten worse the last couple of years?
