Charter internet and telephone services were defunct for about 3 hours on last Wed. here in Redding, CA---------who knows why, and nobody is saying that I have heard. Charter TV worked fine, tho.

Barry, you are correct, the "Sheriff" that the terrorist is associated with is not local. I jumped to that conclusion because the "militia" were such big supporters of the politicizing of law enforcement that Mack was local.

If the Sheriff of Shasta County is unaware of www.jeffersonstatemilitia.com then shame the bloody hell on him!

Did you open the website Barry?

If your Sheriff can't read that secret rebel code, why not? Don't they have mutual aid agreements with government entities that are in the business of breaking terrorist codes?

Yes, the State of Jefferson was a sleeper cell for a long time. It now has its own army, and they are totally unafraid.

How the hell can anyone believe that Criminal Code Section 11460 (at least) does not apply on a regular basis.

I'm sorry to have falsely accused your Sheriff. Perhaps I just used the wrong charges?

Amigos, I know this isn't a chat room. I'm sorry I thought the thread was a non-story, and didn't respect it. I'm out.

Naturally, their only strength is to try to hold California hostage for its water. Taking our water back is likely to be muy feo.

Dude - we'll still be able to fish Eagle Lake, right????

Oh man I sure hope so. I've been a loyal Californian since 1943, and grew up in California State Parks. I really really really don't want Civil War II.

Oh, I heard that there might have been lapses in cell service out that way!!!

Man has only been around for some 250,000 years, not much of a record to make "change" predictions on.

But we do agree on the planet's ability to survive, with or without man. As George Carlin use to say, Man is but a flee on the planet and won't matter much in the long haul.

There most certainly is but one side to every story: the TRUTH. Variations of it are nothing but lies.

Ahhhh, but the geologic record goes back almost forever, and there is LOTS in that record to "make predictions" on.

Sure, you can fish it. Can't float a boat in it right now, but you can fish it.
