Mexican Hangover Cures

For those who care, here's an article on Mexican hangover cures.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/off-track-planet/mexican-hango...

My own is a prevention, drink a huge glass of water and take two aspirin before going to sleep.

Mood: TEQUILA!

My solution is to push the drinking to just below the hangover stage...(after 40 years of drinking tequila, one learns where that threshold is), that way no hangover cure are necessary.:bounce::biggrin::bounce:

For a really, r-e-a-l-l-y BAD cruda...

Quiet
Dim lighting
Cool but not cold room
Piles of down, comforter, pillow. Satin, everything else scratches.
Orange flavor mineral water.
Valium 10mg
Oxycodone 5mg
Aspirin much too harsh on my stomach, 1000 mg Tylenol time release

That is why I do not drink much of anything anymore. But I can emphasize the above formula works like a freakin' charm.

While drinking:
- Eat plenty of high-fat food and food in general
- Force yourself to drink water, at least one glass for every drink
- If you don't like water, try a non-diuretic sweet drink, like Sprite or fruit punch
- One quart of Pedialyte before going to sleep (substiture a quart of 1/2 gatorade and 1/2 water if Pedialyte not available; do not drink full-strength gatorade)

The next day:
- Another quart of Pedialyte first thing in the morning
- Two Pop Tarts
- Greasy breakfast

Just before going to bed, take two aspirin and the biggest multivitamin pill you can find, then drink as much cold water as you can. Fill a big glass of cold water and put it by your bed so that you can drink it if you wake up.

Works every time. Works so good that, sometimes, I even feel better than even before I started to drink the night before.

The multivitamin that I take is the: ADULT 50+ Kirkland (Costco brand) "Mature Multi" vitamins & minerals. Tons of B vitamins in it. I think it is equivalent to Centrum Silver.

If you can follow it with menudo in the morning, so much the better.
