Who is güero?

Who is güero?

A lot of you know personal details of who I am but for those who don't my name is Barrett Scalapino. I have a 3 bedroom / 2 bath house in Punta Abreojos that will soon be a long term rental property. I also own a 2 plus bedroom house in Loreto that is currently a short or long term rental property. The reason for these details is I will soon be promoting these rental properties on Baja Nomads. I will also be posting a request for a website builder who would be interested in creating 2 new websites for my businesses "Coco Cabañas" and "Coco Casitas de Loreto" in trade for accommodations at my house in Punta Abreojos or my house in Loreto.

Thank you,
güero

Welcome my friend.

The house in Abreojos is very nice, in a good location and would be great for someone wanting to get acquainted to the area.

no no no! This is Guero! (welcome to the board and good luck with the rentals). Second pic is Guero's son "junior" and his 8 week old grandson... all big boys! Sorry- a few dogs pics always liven up a rental thread though.

Look forward to your future posts, guero. How's the road to Abreojos? Is it paved beyond the halfway point?

Continued success!

Hola Blanca, I'll probably rent the place for a 6 month minimum. It would be too hard doing a weekly or monthly rent as I live in Ensenada. The rate will depend on length of stay, time of year, furnished or unfurnished and other factors that I'll post in the "Baja rentals available" forum after I find a couple photos. Of course I would rather not rent it out as a party pad with 30 person Wesson oil parties going on every night but surfers are people too and if they can convince me that the place would be taken care of, who knows. Ideally a few families in southern Cal can go in partners and rent it by the year. Or a group of pilots. The airstrip is 3 minute walk! As you know, the area is great for outdoor types with fishing, water sports, surfing, kayaking, quads, motos and more. And the empty beaches!

I'll be down in a week or so, can I bring anything down to La Bocana that will fit in a semi-loaded sedan?

If you can squeeze in some used clothing/shoes/household items for the garage sales, that would be soooo great. Maybe you can hit up family and friends ?? THANKS.

Hola Lee, The road is paved all the way in. A few potholes but not bad. Pavement ends as you enter town.

Hola Mike & Roz, We enjoyed having you at the Coco's, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.

I won't be able to do weekly rents in Punta Abreojos. I don't have anyone that I can count on to greet the guests and make sure the place is cleaned and ready to go. I would like to rent for a 6 month minimum. It would be perfect for a group of pilots or group of Southern Cal families or fishermen to rent by the year and take turns using the place. Or a couple that wants extra bedrooms for family and friends to visit.

They were chip sealing the beginning of the road a week ago. Don't know if they are going to reseal the entire road or not.
