Tomorrow along with my birthday is my 5 year anniversary here on Baja Nomads. This my 400th post. I do not have the shear numbers or awesome Baja address as some, but the desire to someday be in Baja more is certainly there. For that reason today I have bought the winning Megamillions ticket so that I may wander every corner of Baja ( at least the ones with fish!!!). I have met some wonderful people on this board and Baja is definitly burned into my soul. Tomorrow I will raise a shot of tequila to all of you! Salut!!!
BTW, June is coming soon................

My Gawd....just think of all those taxes you'll have to pay. Better tear up that winning ticket before it's too late.

Happy birthday! I just sent notes to the three of mi familia y amigas that share your birthday mañana.
PS: the first year of the Ca lottery I won 5K. BFD that a huge chunk went to CA taxes. Its not like I earned the money. I have different feelings about earned income. But I confess that I know nothing about this Mega lottery thing in the news today...

7,000,000,000 pesos. Well shucks as a consolation I guess if I had won a prize like this, the notoriety would attempt to kill me if I ever came to Mexico again. "Oye, Huevos, that gringo in the big house is the ganardista mayor of la loteria. He has mas dinero como Dios!" Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know this is weak, but hell it's all I got to console me.

I am with ya David, If I had won, I would have reconsidered my choice to live in Mexico. Or at least wait until I had my security detail squared away.

Congrats on your 400th post acadist. Too bad you didn't win mega millions either. Sound like a good reason to have another tequila.

Any reason is a good reason to have another tequila! I am a little disappointed in MSN or maybe the jackpot was jus too large, the results were the main news story......I usually like to walk around with the ticket for a week or two, it's always a winner until I check it:tumble::spingrin::tumble:
