Just got a phone call from Teddi, she is fine and in San Diego. Don't know details, she said " I screwed up".

I know why she was late...Ralph got to tellin' stories then Baja Bucko told a few. Anybody who's spent time there knows how that one goes. Too much fun and oh so hard to pull the plug.

I knew she was ok cuz I spoke to her on the radio just the other night while she was right there w/ Ralph.

One of these days she'll upgrade her ham license & be able to check in w/ us all while she's on the road.

Can't wait to hear the tales of this latest adventure.

Glad you're fine, Teddi.

Hope we get a trip report from you about your latest journey.

Hope to meet up with you again one day out there on the Baja trail.

Baja Bucko Fan Club

I met Baja Bucko (Teddi) and her family in 2001, delivering some fishing gear from Whistler. Teddi was one of the first Baja people I chatted with online, starting back about 1998... We had a common interst in the history of Baja and the Camino Real. Neal Johns even found where we both wrote (on the same page) for Mexico West Magazine, nearly 20 years earlier!

In case some fans of Baja Bucko missed this on another thread...

One of the pleasures of camping with fellow Baja Nomads is our time at the campfire. Please enjoy our campfire at Mision Santa Maria, 2010 as Baja Bucko sings to us... (video taken by 'hbmurphy')...

The evening before that video, we all had dinner at Ed's BAJA'S BEST Restaurant, in El Rosario... That's Neal Johns next to Baja Bucko...
