Nine days in Baja!

My bike is ready to go! Five “mature” riders going for a ride down the peninsula - San Ignacio to SJD and back. Leave Saturday April 14. Nine day itinerary:
Day 1 – Truck bikes San Diego to San Ignacio
Day 2 – San Ignacio to Lopez Mateos - through San Juanico
Day 2 - Lopez Mateos to La Ventana – through San Evaristo
Day 3 – La Ventana to Todos Santos - Via east cape to SJD, then NW over mountains
Day 4 - Todos Santos to La Paz - NE over mountains
Day 5 – La Paz to San Carlos – Follow 1000 course on west coast
Day 6 - San Carlos to Loreto - Through San Javier
Day 7 - Loreto to Chivato – Through Comondu, La Purisma, Guajademi & Mulege
Day 8 - Chivato to San Ignacio – Through San Jose de Magdalena and points west
Day 9 – Truck bikes San Ignacio to San Diego

Oh what fun. Will post pics on return. Thanks all for the info on Guajademi – Look forward to it!

Definitely looking forward to it. We've done the Tecate to La Paz trip the last two years a couple of different ways. This year we decided to eliminate the logistics of getting the bikes back from La Paz by starting in San Ignacio and doing a down and back. It gives us two days south of La Paz and more time to explore the interesting stuff in the central peninsula between Insurgentes and San Ignacio. Will definitely post pics and a report.

A lot of good info on this site. Again, thanks a bunch!
